WELCOME TO TIPPERS GOLF ACADEMY

Tippers Golf Academy is based in Central Algarve, Portugal, where you will be offered friendly golf tuition by PGA Golf Professional Paul Tipper in the luxury of warm sunshine.

With a wide selection of lesson packages, which can be given in English, German or Portuguese, there is something for everybody from special hourly rates for the young to full and intensive 5 day courses for the more ambitious.

GOLF ACADEMY PROGRAMME

• Beginners Course:  
  6 hours over 3 days €200
  10 hours over 5 days €300
   

*the 5 Day Course finishes with the last 2 hours on the Golf Course

• Advanced Course:  
   6 hours over 3 days €250
  10 hours over 5 days €350
   

 The 5 Day Course finishes with a round of 9 holes on the course

• Platzreife Schule:   Nur für deutsch prechende Golfer  (German Speaking Only):  6 Stunden über 5 Tage mit 2 Stunden pro Session €450 - Regel & Etiquetten Prüfung. Praktische Prüfung 9 Loch  + 25€ Anmeldung DGV inkluiert

Paul Tipper Profile

Tippers Golf Academy is headed by PGA Professional and Level 3 Trainer Paul Tipper who is originally from Hillingdon, Middlesex in England.  Paul turned Professional in 1978 and started his professional career at Farnham Park Golf club in Buckhampshire.  

Paul came to live in Algarve in 1985 and took time out to run his own business for five years and decided to return to his career as a Golf Professional in 1990 at the Carvoeiro Club Academy.  From 1996 to the year 2000 Paul spent 5 years teaching in Germany as Head Professional at  Golfpark Biblis-Wattenheim in Hessen.  

Since returning from Germany Paul has worked at the Vila Monte Resort , the Pestana Golf Academy and is currently employed freelance, during the Summer Season, at the Sheraton Pinecliffs Academy and for the famous German Company First Class Golf in the winter months.

Philosophy

With all the experience at his disposal, Paul will be able to tailor his teaching techniques to fit the individual.  It depends on the many different characteristics of a person as how best to work e .g. age, gender, physical strength, flexibility and of course ambition.

No two people and no two golf swings are alike.  Strong fundamentals are of the highest importance i.e. grip, posture, ball position and alignment - the rest is up to you and Paul.
